This week I’m pleased to feature Francisco Perez the founder of iBlogZone.com
Don’t miss last week’s interview with Wade Harman the founder of BloggersMakeMoney.com
When it comes to making money with a blog it’s not what you do but how you do it that matters most.
Francisco Perez also known as DiTesco is an excellent example of this concept.
That’s why I wanted to share his story with you, here’s some stats about his site:
Domain Registered: July 2008
Alexa Traffic rank: 12,751
Twitter followers: 20,232
Facebook likes: 4,211
Google+ circles: 3,012
I first discovered Francisco’s blog when I was researching top bloggers for the #IBCT last year.
This year his blog made it to the final four thanks to everyone who participated by voting with a tweet, +1, or a comment.
Listen to our conversation from this morning:
Links discussed in the interview:

What I learned from Francisco Perez the founder of iBlogZone.com
#1. Numbers Don’t Lie.
Just think, since the #IBCT Regional Finals on March 26th Francisco has written 17 articles that generated 1,000 Facebook likes (exactly that’s hilarious) and 804 Google Plus users have added him to their circles.
That means over 100 people a week have added him to their circles and liked his Facebook page for 7 weeks straight.
What makes that so bad is from the interview this isn’t even his favorite platform.
Compare that to my numbers, I have a TOTAL of about 900 people who have added me to their circles on G+, I appreciate every single one and that’s why I know this is a substantial accomplishment.
#2. “Have a reason for your schemin”
I talked about this idea on Podcast#2 “Be CAUSE don’t just be cuz” it makes a big difference.
Have a reason for your scheming means put a meaning behind what you’re doing and what you stand for.
“DiTesco” which I thought was a nickname that Francisco used is actually a Latin word for “GROW RICH”
It’s an idea and a goal at the same damn time.
3. Be Strategic.
You heard Francisco say, “If you can’t beat em join em.”
When it comes to business sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
Even though people don’t want to become dependent on Google it’s clear they are waaaaay too big to ignore.
You can use their tools to your advantage and succeed if you are strategic.
I want to thank Francisco Perez for taking the time to do this interview.
I know you could have spent the afternoon hanging out on the beach in Brazil but instead you shared knowledge and I appreciate it, thank you.
That’s it for this episode.
