I just finished reading the only real book that I have read the entire year.
When I say real I mean a physical in your hand paperback book.
I could not have chosen a better book to read man WOW.
It’s a long story how I even found this book.
I was in the grocery store this morning and I noticed it sitting there with some dude on the cover with no arms and legs but smiling from ear to ear for some reason.
My reaction to seeing the cover was like, “Hmm, this is interesting WTF is this dude smiling about?” Since I never buy books at the grocery store I just kept moving.
As I walked I remembered I did hear a story in the past about some dude born without arms and legs, I thought, “That’s cool, at least he wrote a book about his story.”
Then I moved on to the check out line.
As the cashier rang up my items wouldn’t you know I had a problem with a water bottle? So now I had a reason to go back and get another one.
Guess where the water bottles were?
Right next to this book.
At this point I had to pick it up.
When I got home and unpacked the groceries I grabbed the book and took a look inside.
I could not put it down until I read all 64 pages. I know you may be thinking dang, that’s a short book.
Well, yes it is and no it’s not.
It may be short on pages, chapters and text but it is long on inspiration, encouragement, and hope.
Three things we, or I should say I know I need more of now than ever.
I decided to write this review because business owners are people who choose to put themselves through great suffering and stress as we strive to find independence and freedom.
We ride the emotional roller coaster that seems to have so many more lows than highs and we seem to get used to just being low. The next thing you know we just well, quit and go get a “real job” then tell other people how YOU can’t make it.
I want you to read this before you quit on your dream, and become one of “those people”.
