How to use Social Media & Content Marketing to get new customers

The #1 reason why customers are more likely to purchase, Social Media.

No this isn’t the latest edition of Social Media Saturday.  That doesn’t start until tomorrow, I guess it already has started in Australia lol.

This post is about helping you understand your customers better.

I know how you feel,

“…you want to increase your sales, but you feel like you’re banging your head up against the wall.”

What could be the problem?

  • Is it that no one has any money?
  • Could it be that the economic environment is just not right for your business?

It’s hard to tell when you look at your competitors isn’t it?  They seem to be doing just fine.

Well, why can’t you get your piece of the pie then?

It’s simple.

You’r doing it wrong.

Instead of focusing on the NEW trends you are relying on the old techniques.

Just think.

Back in the day billboards didn’t display STREAMING VIDEO and SEARS catalogs didn’t have like buttons.

Things have changed big time and it’s time to update your strategy and do it NOW.

MEN LIE WOMEN LIE NUMBERS DON’T LIE

Here’s the report from HubSpot that proves people are starting to ignore advertisements and focus on what their online friends recommend and “like”.

This trend was started years ago and now it appears to be establishing itself as the new status quo.  If you are not taking advantage of content marketing and social media you are missing out.

Paying for advertising alone is like going into a boxing match with one arm tied behind your back.

In order to win the fight you need a strategy with paid advertising and high quality content.

The key is to integrate:

  • What the customer wants.
  • Why they should choose you.
  • Social media.
  • Content Marketing.
