Twenty Twelve was a very special year for YourOnline.biz.
It was larger year as it was 366 days, one entire day longer due to the leap year, which still doesn’t make sense to me. How can you “make up” time?
It was also a year full of firsts for the site:
- It was the first full year for the domain. I registered the site in November of 2011.
- It was the first year for the #IBCT which I started in 2012.
- I published 101 articles in 2012 for YourOnline.biz, I’ve wrote many more that have yet to be published.
- I published my first premium product HIC, Holiday Insiders Club which turned a profit and helped provide over 100 meals for starving children. #PayItForward
I want to thank everyone who visited the site last year but I want to especially thank you for reading this article right now.
They say the present is the most important gift of all, I’m glad you’re here sharing your gift with me.
The past is best used to gauge how you’re doing and what you need to change to improve the future. That is unless you’re too hard headed and stubborn to adapt to change.
If you’re one of those types your online business will suffer and eventually fail.
If there’s one thing that I have found to be true it’s to always be willing to review and modify what you’re doing and change it until you get the consistent results you need.
It’s like the difference between a professional and an amateur.
A professional can hit 100 golf balls and maybe hit one or two bad shots, an amateur can hit 100 golf balls and maybe hit one or two good shots.
The difference is staggering.
My goal is to obtain professional results and to help you do the same.

This tournament got started because I needed a way to explain to clients effective ways to use their blogs. I would recommend this blog for this niche and that blog for that niche. Then the research kept going and I converted it into a tournament after I realized how useful and valuable this information is for people. Thanks for your support. Lesson: Write about ambitious people and they’ll write about you.

This post was a huge accomplishment as it documented my progress with my brand new blog. I started out with nothing and tested everything until I saw results. I threw out what didn’t work until I found a system that generated reliable results. Lesson: Watch your progress on search more closely. After speaking with so many clients who wanted FULL control over their blog I decided to create a workshop to teach people how to set up your own blog for FREE. In this post I wanted to compare theory of the needs of human kind to the needs of a successful website. I wrote this post so fast that obviously I didn’t even spell check it or nothing. I was focused on the idea and point that I wanted to get across. Lesson: Take your time and proof read, damn.
PS I left out the Contact and about pages as they are always one of the top pages that people visit on the site. However I did learn don’t change the path on your pages. For some reason I decided to change my URL from YourOnline.biz/About-us to YourOnline.biz/About I don’t know why I messed wit this.
